Terms and conditions

These terms govern your use of VoiceScribe (the voicescribeia.com website, the Chrome extension and the desktop apps). By creating an account or using the service, you accept them.
1. The service
VoiceScribe turns voice and audio into text. It offers dictation with the browser or device speech recognition, AI transcription and a cloud history linked to your account.
2. Your account
You need an account to dictate, save texts or use AI; creating one is free. You are responsible for what is done with it and for keeping access to your email or Google account secure. Let us know if you notice unauthorized use.
3. Plans and limits
The free plan includes 15 dictations and 15 saved texts a month and 2 AI transcriptions a month. The Pro plan removes the dictation limit and includes up to 50 AI transcriptions a day, audio up to 30 minutes and file uploads up to 15 MB. Limits protect the service and may be adjusted; if they get worse for a paid plan, we will tell you in advance.
4. Payments and renewal
Pro costs €5 a month. Payments are processed by Stripe and the subscription renews automatically at the end of each period until you cancel. Prices may change; any change applies at the next renewal and we will tell you beforehand.
5. Cancellation
You can cancel anytime from your workspace (“Manage subscription”). You keep Pro until the end of the period you already paid and you are not charged again. Your texts stay in your account. If you think you were charged by mistake, write to us and we will look into it.
6. Your content
The texts and audio you create are yours. You only give us permission to process and store them to provide the service. We do not sell them or use them for advertising. You can delete them anytime.
7. Acceptable use
You may not use VoiceScribe for illegal activities, to record people without their consent where the law requires it, to try to bypass the limits or security of the service, or to resell access without permission.
8. Transcription accuracy
Automatic transcription can contain errors. Review the text before using it in important contexts such as legal, medical or financial documents.
9. Availability
We work to keep the service available, but there may be interruptions for maintenance or provider outages. We may improve, change or remove features.
10. Liability
The service is provided “as is”. To the extent permitted by law, VoiceScribe is not liable for indirect damages or losses caused by transcription errors or service interruptions.
11. Changes to these terms
If we change these terms in an important way, we will announce it on the website or by email. Continuing to use the service after the change means you accept the new version.
