VoiceScribe is a web application and Chrome extension that turns voice and audio into text. This policy summarizes the information used to provide the service.

1. Information we collect

We may process account data such as name, email, and profile photo; transcripts and audio submitted for processing; language, duration, and usage counters; and subscription status.

2. How we use information

We use this data to authenticate you, generate transcripts, sync history, enforce plan limits, manage payments, resolve errors, and protect the service from abuse.

3. Service providers

Firebase provides authentication and storage; AI providers process audio when you choose AI Dictation; Stripe processes payments. These services handle information under their own terms and security measures.

4. Microphone and browsing

The microphone is used when you start a recording. The extension does not need to read your browsing history to provide its core function.

5. Retention and security

We apply access controls and keep server credentials outside the browser. Information is retained as needed to operate the service and meet legal obligations.

6. Your choices

You can review or delete saved transcripts and request access, correction, or deletion of data connected to your account by contacting support.

7. Contact
